In January, Ventura filed a lawsuit in federal court in Minnesota against the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA. The lawsuit accuses the agencies of violating Ventura’s rights under the Fourth Amendment, which protects Americans from unreasonable searches and seizures. During an interview in September, Ventura told Jones his career was endangered and that he was considering abandoning travel altogether due to the intrusive pat-downs and dangerous radiation emitting ***** body scanners.
